Edwina Carrington

Edwina_20Carrington.jpgEdwina Carrington has been involved in the planning, development, financing, and delivery of affordable housing and community development programs in Texas since 1978, and has worked at the local, regional, and state levels. She has more than 40 years of demonstrated progressively responsible experience in leadership and executive level positions in the public and private sectors, involving real estate finance, real estate development, design and implementation of federal programs, asset management, charitable foundations, tax credit equity funds, and with a national accounting firm. Ms. Carrington is a graduate of Leadership Texas, was honored as an Outstanding Woman in Texas Government in Management, commissioned by Texas Governor Rick Perry as a Yellow Rose of Texas, and named a Central Texas Woman of Influence by the Austin Business Journal. She has a BS in History and Secondary Education and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration. Ms. Carrington is a member of the Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of Austin (HACA) and was named the 2018 recipient of the Elizabeth B. Wells Memorial Award by the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO).
